The requirements for "Designated Activities (one year, workable)" for Myanmar people in Japan have been clarified.

Since May 28, 2021, the following treatments have been handled as an emergency evacuation measures for Myanmar people who want to stay in Japan due to the situation in Myanmar.
For those who have finished their existing status of residence and want to continue to stay, and those who wish to stay in without the end of the current status of residence without the circumstances that should be returned to their own blame, "Designated Activities (one year, workable)" has been recognized.
In addition, due to the circumstances that should be returned to their own blame, those who wish to stay in without the end of their current status of residence, "Designated Activities(has been recognized.work within 6 months and 28:00 a week) ” has been recognized.

This time, from the viewpoint of preventing misuse and abuse, the handling of those who stay in Japan has been shown as follows for the status of residence of "Technical Intern Training".

  • For those who have stayed in "Technical Intern Training" and have not completed technical intern training, it is difficult to continue technical intern training, and supervisory organizations, etc. change the training destination. Despite taking measures, if a new training destination has not been secured, a change in residence is granted to “Designated Activities (one year, workable)”.
  • Due to the circumstances that should be returned to self -blame, those who have been in the "Technical Intern Training" who have not expired technical intern training and continue to stay in Japan will change their status of residence, cannot be recognized.
