An additional document is now required for the renewal application of the "Business Manager" residence status.
Effective July 17 of this year, when applying to renew your "Business Manager" residence status, you are now required to submit a "document specifically detailing business management or administration activities during your most recent period of stay," in addition to the conventional application materials.
Previously, only a copy of the financial settlement documents was required. Now, in addition to that, a document explaining what kind of business activities were actually conducted is also mandatory.
This is conceivable to be a measure to address recent issues where individuals who were granted "Business Manager" residence status did not actually engage in management or administrative activities.
If you are planning to renew your "Business Manager" residence status, please do not hesitate to consult our office.
