Important Notice: Renewing Your "Business Manager" Status of Residence

When renewing your "Business Manager" status of residence, the Japanese Immigration Services Agency strictly assesses whether you are genuinely engaged in the business activities corresponding to that status of residence type.
Simply finalizing your annual accounts and paying taxes is not enough to prove you are conducting proper business activities.
If key administrative matters—such as labor management, mandatory enrollment in social insurance (Shakai Hoken), and proper accounting procedures—are not being handled correctly, the authorities may deem that you are not appropriately conducting "Business Manager" activities.
